Kim Kardashian West Accused Of Copying Another Designer’s Sunglasses
Hollywood star Kim Kardarshian West who recently won a lawsuit against Missguided, is under fire for copying Emilio Pucci’s sunglasses design
Kim Kardashian West is known for her unique taste and style in clothing. The Hollywood star who last appeared in the film Ocean’s 8 is under fire for copying Emilio Pucci’s sunglasses design.
The actress has recently won a lawsuit filed by her against UK based multi-channel retailer selling Missguided. Earlier in the month of July, Kim was awarded $2.7 million, plus $60,000 in legal fees for the lawsuit. Kim on her official Twitter account shared her thoughts regarding the brand; the actress wrote, “It’s devastating to see these fashion companies rip off designs that have taken the blood, sweat and tears of true designers who have put their all into their own original ideas.”
After the victory in the lawsuit case against Missguided, Kim has been accused of fashion plagiarism herself. The star has been under fire for copying the sunglasses designs from Emilio Pucci’s collection for her collaboration with Carolina Lemke on a post shared recently on Instagram. The post read, “Hey @kimkardashian , so it’s def not cool to use someone else’s name and likeness when promoting knockoffs, as evidenced by your win against @missguided , but should it be ok to use your OWN name and likeness to promote them? Lol. Funny how those SS17 @emiliopucci shades you wore in August 2018 ended up in your eyewear collab with @carolinalemkeberlin that launched in April this year. Hypocrisy at its finest!”

Kim cannot even be given benefit of doubt as she was herself seen wearing the design last summer, before the launch of her range. While Kim is the known for her quick response to tweets on social media, an answer from the reality show star this time is most awaited.
